Is it me or is £800 for a year on my Dad's insurance with Norwich Unioin seem WAY to much for a Fiat Sei 1.1?

---EDIT---
I'm 18 years old, with 5month Driving Exprience,
Mainly town driving and city driving however i have driven on m-ways and at night etc, though i have not done Pass Plus yet

Maybe a bit much considering your insured through your dad. My own tpf&t policy 3 years ago when I was 19 on my standard cinqy was £820 with NU. Try others.

Edit: Oh but bare in mind insurace in general has gone up and you have a more valuable car.

I never even thought of that, caCHING. well in that case i'll wait till it drops, also i dont think we can afford it, but i hope to keep for a long while

I always use moneysupermarket.com they search ALL the insurance companies and get you several free quotes.

I got my fully comp on my new MJ for £123 a year.

EasyMoney are v. cheap. I drive a Seicento Sporting S reg, passed my test 18 months ago, I have Pass Plus, aged 20, 0 NCB as no previous insurance in my name. My premium is £424.
