Anything really. Was thinking a cinq or punto as they're small and I could keep it in the milkbottle's garage just to play with.

i would say a fire engine is better/easier to muck about with than an old sohc, bit more plentiful, esp for mix and matching

I'm laughing my head off at this point, and imagining all the dirty marks in the Alfa 155's boot as you haul this treasure home to your garage...

WOW, I always thought gearboxes were hard to get! Won't that be exciting to discover how good that is... and again, I wonder how much oil that leaked out on the way home...

Of course, you don't want to be messing around with any partially-seized engines. Those photos will come in really useful in ten years' time, when you claim that the perfect motor in your red Turbo was rebuilt from a pile of scrap...

You would think that at least the pistons might be useful - it's not like they're going to corrode away. The furry crankshaft isn't exactly a problem either. I'm sure you'll have fun getting that apart.
