Yeah only around trentham slowly as at 18 my insurance isnt fully comp on other peoples cars. Tbh it didnt show me alot, the clutch bites alot later than mine so i couldnt really get used to it in the time i drove it for, and the gearbox has no feel in it at all which is a shame. They were my only problems with it really though. Great looking car, cost nearly 11k in total 2 years ago, so its a bargain really. cant wait to get it

I test drove one and hated the gearbag...is it actually attached to the box? The steering which has a wonderful artificial feel :yuck:, clutch has a really odd springy action and the brakes have no feel either was slightly disappointed for such a 'sporty' car, quick in a straight line tho and looks cool.

Exactly what i thought about the gearbox, i dont think they could have made it much less sporty. Theres just no feeling with it. Other than that its i liked it from what i could tell. Comes with the original alloys and some white pro race 1.2's, and a private loeb plate, so looks pretty awesome on the road

She reckoned id cheated on her when we were together, and she knew damaging the car would be the best way of apparently getting me back :bang:

did she dump you?

I just had mine damaged by a neighbor but no where near to the extent of yours thankfully.

I've just shat in her front garden as a token of my gratitude......

charming:yuck:

Yeah i reckon it will..

Doesn't it just mean that she gets a criminal record and i still get the bill? think im looking at £250 excess on my insurance

is there anyway of claiming back damages if shes prosecuted?

All this weeks before i change my car.

If you have fully comp insurance with legal protection you can go after her for the cost of your excess. I did it when someone crunched a car I owned about 10 years ago, they payed for everything including the week of hiring a car.
If not, then hope she's found guilty and put in a claim against her at the small claims court.

I'm quite surprised that you're insured at all on other cars at 18. Most insurance policies only have this for drivers 25 and over, and even then it's only third-party cover, not comprehensive.

General Update

Police rang me today and said that there isn't enough evidence and its been thrown out of court by the CPS :bang:

The CCTV footage of the car park is so poor you cant see the car so no evidence there...

I showed the police a text from her stating 'It was me' but shes been interviewed and told them it was sarcastic...so theres not enough to go on apparently. Seriously how could someone ever get away with that? is it actually all it takes to just say that they were joking and get away with it...?!

So its looking like an insurance job and paying the excess of £250...gutted

dont buy the citroen, i have a saxo as a second car and its horrid, a mate had a C2 VTR (or vts or something) and it was pants... just as pants as the saxo. If you want something small, fast and nice, fiesta ST

I couldnt get an ST in the condition of the loeb for £6100 though. I couldnt insure one either, and at 18 its too fast for me really. And ive driven my mates saxo a few times and yeah its appalling. Couldnt ever compare it to a C2 VTS though. The sensodrive VTR is probably as bad i reckon haha

could they not match any dents to her shoes or get paint match off them

Not sure, im gonna ring back tomorrow. Ive got a photo of her from that night off facebook, shes wearing black heels, so hopefully theyd fit the marks on my car. Theres also black rubber accross the drivers door.

Doubt theyll bother with it now though will they?

I'm just about to start working for the police force. Unfortunately they have to take in both sides of the story. It sure is a bummer to hear she'll be getting away with it though! I'd be tempted to set up a hidden camera and mike and invite her round for a cuppa and get her to admit it on tape! Well i'd do that anyway! :)
