I've just bought these for my '94 Tipo 1.4 ie. from my local Motorworld. They are the recommended plugs - Champion RNYCC (Double copper)

I think they are pretty much the last of the line from the local Champion factory at Upton on the Wirral which was closed recently by Federal Mogul. I think production has moved to Belgium. (n)

I got 3 in the gold box which seem older, they say "Made in Great Britain". The red box says Federal Mogul and "Made in EU", the plug looks slightly different. The Champion brochure now recommends the RN9YC (not CC), perhaps they're discontinuing or "de-emphasising" the double copper ones.

Anyway I'm sure most people would recommend NGK or Bosch, but I thought I'd grab a bit of local automotive history!
