Any1 bought these from shop4parts before? Wanted to know if they any good, think mine is gone as the 1.2 is just drinking petrol like never before.

And just to make sure, do the wires need stripping and then connected to your old black connector block? I don't think they do, just wanna make sure though

Cheers people

If you get one from Shop4parts it'll come with the connector plug no need to cut wires...... Now if you got a universal Lambda off say Ebay (Like i did - people say there pants but i have had no probs apart from a wire working loose) then you would need to cut the wires and reconnect.

Yeh got 1 of them ebay 1's last year mate, for a tenner, helped with passing the MOT then, but petrol wise it's drinking way too much, so I think it's given up on me. :(

Thanx for the reply tho, will be purchasing from shop4parts soon.

Thanks :)

I've got a 1.2 and think I need a new lambda too. On shop4parts, theres 2 listed for the 1.2. Pre-cat and post-cat. Which should I get?

Thanks

"The whole point of a small Fiat is that you have a very small engine, powered by petrol, and you rev it and rev it and rev it until the valves come out and dance on the bonnet, and THEN you change gears" - James May

Tez by pre cat and post cat i assume you mean cat convertor, check if your car has one or two would of thought it'd have one on the downpipe from manifold. Unless it means yours has two i think the HGT has.

Yeh, I fink the 1.2 has two, although I have'nt seen the ova 1. I'd get the pre-cat Tez as this is the one on the manifold and can be put on in a matter of minutes, depending on how much the nut/bolt bit is tightened from previous!:)
