Lambda senor

Can anyone help???
I have read comments re the lambda senor as my fiat is suffering with same problems as those mentioned by others. But in terms for a lady to understand, where is the lambda senor so that i can try disconnecting it to confirm whether that is the problem or not??

lambda sensor tells the engine ecu how much oxygen is in the exhaust fumes before and after the cat allowing it to adjust the fuel mixture

Hi, firstly welcome to FF :wave:

What age is your car. Older cars only have one lambda sensor and more modern ones have two.

All cars with Lambda's will have one in the exhaust manifold, and those with two will also have one after the CAT

What model is your car also?

Hiya, ta for that.

Thats sort of when they started doing the system with 2 lambda sensors.

Have you tried disconnectthing the lambda sensor in the exhaust manifold
