Hi, I am a new member. I have a cheeky little Sei, Has anyone else had a problem with a lambda sensor heater? i think it is a wiring fault and just wondered if any of you had the same problem, thanks

Thanks for the welcome!! I got it plugged in at my mates garage, i can't remember the fault code but it said Lambda Sensor Heater Circuit, so i tried a different lambda sensor, and nothing happened so i assumed it is a wiring fault, which could possibly be difficult to track..

Ah sorry.. I have engine light on and there is a rough idle (dunno if the idle is caused by the faulty lambda sensor) apart from that it drives okay..

rough idle is normally sign of running rich probably down to lambda sensor.some have 2.i have spare brand new 4 wire universal one if you need it mate.

I have the same problem, after troubles with blocked catalyst converter and decat (https://www.fiatforum.com/cinquecen...gine-failure-blocked-catalytic-converter.html), engine control light is back on (lighten up while driving) and the same error-Lambda heater circuit..) - any idea which cable try to check???? and which lambda is wrong?? (mechanic said its the first/top one, then resets ecu and its fine for now again, so probably not faulty sensor)

..and are lambda sensors intercheangeable within SPI / MPI engines????

I changed the sensor which is before the Cat. (that is the only one) the light went out!! I was dead happy then later that day, on my way to work the bastard came back on.. until i get it checked i won't know if it is related..
