Hi, I had not used my Fiorino camper for a couple of weeks - started fine but pulling away there was a lack of power - missing its usual `oomph`. I got to the next town to do some shopping and had to stop on a slight hill at a crossing at it was very hard pulling away - almost dangerous as it felt like it was not going to move. Throttle response non existent but luckily it went back to normal after it had been parked up while shopping. I should say that I had a sticking wastegate a while ago and the EML came on when accelerating up a hill but I do not recall it being hard to pull away. This was a definite lack of power so could it still be wastegate or EGR? - no smoke or anything out the back but whatever it was is ok for now but I want to prevent it happening again. Does it need an additive perhaps or just a good thrashing? Euro 4 so no DPF to worry about and no EML came on or anything either. Any advice form the brilliant bods on the forum would be most welcome.
On another niote, I posted a while back regarding water in drivers footwell and I have proven it was scuttle drain peeing water on to the servo and getting in that way. I sealed it up with mastik and diverted the drain with some plastic pipe and all dry as a bone now!
cheers
