Does anyone know which other gearbox's will fit? i.e. Punto 6 speed etc.

OMFG! Just called fiat to check the price on a new gearbox. £1100 + VAT!!!! I laughed. He told me they also do a reckon for £450 + VAT, I laughed, cried then put the phone down.

Thanks to bravo_owd_chap (aka Kev), my new gearbox was fitted today. Dropped my car off last night, borrowed his (muuuhaaahaaaa). He picked up a gearbox from a MKII punto 60 (£160) and worked his ****** off to fit it mine today.

Went round to collect it this eve and he had arse raped my engine too with steam! Noooo, my engine bay is now clean! I'd been gathering that muck and oil for over 3 years! Lol. And then his missus and kids washed my car!
