hi all, crashed my punto the other day skidding on diesel, hit the kurb around 10mph and snapped the front left wishbone. i have replaced the wishbone but now there is a knocking noise coming from the front left wheel, it gets slightly quiter when breaking. anybody got any ideas?

have you checked for other damage, like steering rods?

Check the Wheel aint buckled and snagging
If you snapped a wishbone, the wheel will certainly be damaged somehow
Track rod end for play
Check the disc isn't bent magically either!

has been to garage and had brake discs changed but now is grinding when on full lock, could this be due to it being lowered recently or? it sounds like it is scrapping on the plastic under the arch but it only does it in one direction and only on the left side :S
It could be. Especially if it already has the wrong wheels on. Needs proper checking and set up.
i had active sport wheels 15'' on standard size tyres and they used to grind on full lock so i fitted a 3mm wheel spacer, problem solved.
