knocking front end mk2 punto

Suspension Bushing
WishBone Bushing
Roll bar bushing
Kackered Diff Knocking
a Dead CV joint
A Ball track rod joint
Wheel bearing has started to fail

Get under the car - have a look see if anything is loose
test the wheel bearing (jack car up and check for play 12 and 6 and then 9 and 3)
Then report back

I've reported it a mod - as in the punto section you'll get it more help

found the problem it was a broken spring on the front pass side cheers
