Technical Knock sensor test

Hi guys, I just had a Fiat Specialist put my 20 valve on the diagnostics to try and discover why I have an intermitent running fault (Sluggishness)
The two fault codes that came up were faulty number two knock sensor and a fault with the........erm........thing under the drivers side wing to do with emmisions?, cant remember what it was called.
Does anubody know what resistance reading I should get on the plug to the knock sensor to test it and is there a recognised problem with the thingy under the wing?

If you mean the fuel vapour carbon filter they rarely go wrong. Check the vacuum pipe from the throttle body to the unit. There should also be a solenoid on the unit or in that pipe.
Can't help with the resistance at the moment, sorry.
