Hi all,
Well its been a while but I couldnt resist getting back behind the wheel of a Fiat!
I used to own the Cann Durrant Sedicivalvole (J151 SPB) I wonder where that is now??
So ive now got myself into my dream fiat, the one I wanted when I was a teenager but could never afford.
The MK1 Uno Turbo i.e.
I found it for sale on Pistonheads and drove 165 miles to see it. With them being a very rare car now, due to the fact that most were destroyed, 'boy'd up' or disolved away, I had to do it.
OK, so its not a minter but then I was looking for a project. I then bought another one in boxes Just incase I needed any of those hard to find parts.
So the plan is to build the ultimate MK1. Im going to keep it looking 100% stock but fit a hot engine, sort out the breaks and completely uprate the suspension, shocks, springs, ARB's, poly bushes everywhere etc..
Thats a long way off, first I need to sort the bodywork out so a full respray is on the cards.
Anyway, its nice to be back!
