Technical keys/locks

I have just bought a '92 panda and the boot lock doesn't work, the key turns it but it doesn't lock, it is also very difficult to open anyway, is there any common (repairable) faults with the boot latch, or do i just need a new lock?

the car has a mismatch of keys for doors and ignition anyway, so may be better to buy a full set, any recommendations on where to get them, or should i just stick a wanted ad on here?
