Technical key code light stays on

hi im looking at a marea but the key code light stays on and it wont start it has red key only does it need to go to fiat to sort it out

You'd need to send the ECU to them with the key but they can do a turn around in 48 hours

If this is of any help to anybody, I have just had a similar problem in that the key code light stayed on all the time and the car wont start. The injection light did not come on at all. It turned out just to be the FIAT code fuse situatated in the fuse box in front of the battery.
