We can supply you with a spare working key for this Seicento.
£90 for Forum members.
We dont need the codes.

There's certainly stuff out there designed to clone code 2 keys now. Google throws up a fair few machines.

Sure there seems to be few around to program the ID48, though when you look into them it usually entails removing the eeprom from the BSI to work out the data.

It seems that Ponsaloti can do the job without a key - thats clever if it can be done. Think I'm out of my depth here!

Tony.

Hi pondsaloti,I to have a problem I have a blue fiat key with a number 2 on it,I think the transponder is going is there anyway I can get another transponder(cheap one to put in it and programme the key as in turn the key to MAR and do it that way ,fiat want nearly £300 all in WOW!!! Really need help cheers ,punto mk2

what if your key is red and doesnt have the 2 on it but has the glass chip trasponder inside it,can you take that key to timpsons etc and they make a key that work for what £12 ? as thats what i too think need to do to get a spare key as i dont have the blue keys but would like a spare key or some sort that works cars a 98 sei

If you only have the red master key then all you can make is extra master keys in watever colour ypu choose - which is good enough to keep the car always on the road. (about £15 - £20) each. No need to load the keys in.

If you really want valet keys ie non-master keys, then you have to properly load in two keys with different codes (borrow 2 keys from a mate?). Not really worth the bother though.

THIS ONLY APPLIES TO CODE1 KEYS - NOT WHAT THE THREAD WAS ABOUT!!

Well this ended up being really easy and cheap to remedy. Went to Timpsons and the chap was really helpful and cut the immobiliser chip out of the snapped key which was about 5mm long

Then cut a new key with room in for the chip, loaded the chip into the key and job done. Grand total £12... No cloning or programming, brill!
