Karcher pressure washer

so i had a pressure washer for x-mas,when the weather clears up a bit i want to go and give my car a really good clean with it.I have never used one before and just wanted to hear your hints/tips for using it

Also i have heard/saw snow foam,i want to use this but my pressure washer only has a tube that pulls the detergent in,is this ok for snow foam ?

any other advice is appreciated :worship:

Snow foam connector goes onto your lance, you don't need to worry about detergent tanks with snow foam.

My other tip is be careful with the variolance. Don't use maximum pressure, keep it at least 1m from the body work and shallow angle to avoid potentially stripping paint or denting the panels! Also use a lower pressure at the wheels to avoid blasting the tyres.

just to make sure im reading this right,i need to buy one of them things in one of the likes you provided ( thanks ).then buy some snow foam and that it ? also they seam a bit pricey,is there any cheaper options or do i have to get one of them ?

never used one before so ill just use it to wash first and then snow foam later

You can get cheaper options such as the official karcher foam gun but you need the spend to get decent foam. As for the foam itself it is expensive but a little goes a long way.

there are reviews of that on here its crap you dont get hardly any foam from it

ok then ive decided to leave getting a foam lance for a while,so i just going to get some pressure washer shampoo

what do you suggest ? was going to make a new thread to ask but thought i may aswell use this one

Without snow foam I'd suggest:
Rinse the car with the pw on a low pressure setting
Apply AG Shampoo using the 2 bucket method
Rinse with a medium to high pw setting.
Repeat as necessary
