do these actually make any difference in performance or sound, or is it worth the extra money for a induction kit?

not sound but ment to affect your performance.

if you pull of the ducting going to you filter box you will get a sound similar to an induction kit as OE ducting is normally silenced in a way.

the induction kit doesnt really make a difference i'm told, i'm just changing to a replacement piper cross filter, dont worry about noise, there is a difference between a car that goes and a car that sound like it goes, just change the element, ment to make a wee difference but you wont really notice after a while anyway, save pennys and get ECU remapped see alfanige
