the best place to mount anything with K&N written on it is in a bin - pile of complete ****, sel it on ebay and buy something that works!!!

In the same boat. I've installed a k&n kit on my bravo 1.6. I've had these on other cars but for some reason there doesn't seem to be a difference in sound. I think the car seems slighty quicker when accelerating between 2nd and 3rd. This is my first fiat so getting used to it. I'll get some photos and post them for you, probably tommorrow.

i had a k&n on my 1.6 bravo it roared a goodern sounded real good on full clat! although i played a little with my engine when i rebuilt it.
it was so loud it pissed me off on the motorway!
so i took it off!
put a preformance pannel filter in the air box can stil hear a little roar but the torq is much better at low revs as the cold air is isolated
to be honest u either want a good panel filter or one of the sealed air thingys nige does they are ment to work a treat!

ok then what do you guys suggest i buy? my mate has a universal induction kit on his bravo and it sounds the nuts!!

what size is the pipe that connects to the airbox? can I just smack it on there?

kev there is no piont geting an induction kit just get a sports panel filter
my car went better without the k&n
spend 40 euros on a chip if u got a mk1 1.6 you get bags more power for your pound (u actually notice a difference! a big 1)

i have K&N on my 1.2, and it sounds awsome.
not to every1s taste i spose, nice n lound n throaty, well happy with it.
had it a couple of months or so, and i still get a huge childish grin on my face each time i open up the throttle. and you can drive with minimum roar aswel, even none if u really concentrate and take it really gently!

I cant c y people have a problem with K&N, I have had one on every car and 90% of the motor sport world use them.
Install them properly and clean them regular no probs.

Go to your local race meet.
I used to grass race a rs1800 and out of 50 teams 2 did not use K&N.
