.... some bugger pops up with a question.
On the later "digital display" models, if you import a car with one, even if you change the speedometer to a mph one, the "trip meter and xxxxxometer" still read and record as kilometers. Anyone got any idea how you chage it on Fiats or even Alfa's?

i'm sure i remember someone saying you could do this by holding the reset button in or something. if you have access to one try it

get crayons out and write it on the plastic and then get a small family of smurfs to count how many times your wheels go round! thats what i had to do!

hook the ecu upto a mainframe PJC and convert it across using an alfa/fiat processor control program? thats what my dad says!

A european chap in work has a marea, and he had to take it to Fiat to be changed, i think they done it on the standard diag machine...

Yeah, I thought it was done via the diag machine, but wasn't sure. I have the Examiner software ,but not the right OBD lead! Ah well off to find one on the net

I'm sure I read in the manual you can change them quite easily, can't remember how though. Have a browse through that most interesting of publications and see.

With the the ignition at OFF hold down the reset button on the trip counter then turn on the engine,
bobs your uncle but from expirence some cars get stuck and revert back to miles
