I do like the Cross. Mind you only in colours from the warm end of the rainbow (yellow, orange or red). I honestly don't know what will replace Dez when the time finally comes. I like my Multijet but wouldn't be so keen on one with DPF. The 1.2 feels a bit sluggish in the new Panda so it would have to be a Twinair if I was to opt for new. The only yellow available is the Cross, otherwise it would have to be orange.
Mind you, my husband reckons that I should go electric, however Fiat don't do plug-in strangely enough.

... I've even had thoughts about Sanderos... They seem too good to be true.
The Dacia range now is based on older Renaults, whatever that means to you. French engineering, performed in Romania. A recipe for success, or not perhaps. Quite possibly they'll do it better. As most Dacia customers seems to be of a certain type, the vehicles don't seem to be worked hard, but may suffer neglect, so time will tell if they make sense used or not. Buying a new one and looking after it properly would likely be a safe experience.
I always talk about Dacia but every time I get in my Panda I'm reminded that it's just the perfect car for me, and question why I'd ever replace it with a non-Fiat.. These cars really capture your heart! Lol
It's so true. People think I'm mad with the exception of FF folk!
My sister who owned it for two years told me 'the novelty of it would wear off' but 10 months later and I'm still as enthusiastic about it as I was in 2014 when I first was told I'd be getting it and last October when I did get it!
Despite the odd attraction to Dacia I still think Fiat and the Panda has me trapped in their spell!
It's all sorts of things.. The bright interior, toughness of the finishes, the gear stick and driving position.. Fiat just gets what I want! Hope they don't change their ways
Lol we're very understanding or else we're all as crazy as the next
A few months ago I got into the final to win a new Dacia Sandero. I couldn't take it seriously. I sent my 6 year old to go and pick the box. The man standing beside me won. However the whole time I was standing there with my son, he stood saying how he hated the car and how he so much preferred my car. Tbh if I had have won, I'd have had to sell it to fund some Panda upgrades and renovations.
was that with a utv competiton by any chance?
u105
My mistake, thought I'd heard the ads for it! It was on TV a LOT.. So that could have been you! Silver one wasnt it?
Maybe next time! Must enter more competitions myself!
Plates from Eire used to be pretty much the same as UK plates, in other words black plates with white or silver letters. When we went to reflective plates Ireland did as well but using a red rear plate instead of yellow. They also used letters Britain didn't such as I Q U & Z. More recently they've adopted the current style with the year followed by a locale followed by a number. So D would be Dublin and MH is Monaghan. Probably more logical than the British system but then they have far less vehicles us.Irish reg. plates really are unbelievably crap aren't they? So many Euro countries have a simple, clear format so why try so hard to be different? They have white plates at the back too don't they? That would seem weird on a UK car, but not as weird as the dutchies yellow plates front and back..
OK, rant over..
