Multipla Just joined up

Hi,

Bought our my first Fiat last week, it was time to sort out some of the little niggles.

Found the site through google looking for some 'airbag advice' for my new 2003 Multipla 115jtd elx, so thank you very much it seems to have done the trick.

Glad to be of assistance, there is a wealth of information to be had here and at the multipla owners forum.
Is there a Fiat Forum in France or is the Multipla a bit rare over there too?

Being expat i find it tons easier ready in english, french text speak is closer to chinese than anything else i've seen.

To get the multipla we did have to drive 6 hours, just away to get a reasonable price. A local (1 hour away) one 2001 105jtd was €4500 with 220000km on the clock. Rarity just means silly money here.

Was reading the Multipla section till quite early this morning so now have my next couple of weekends planned out for jobs.

Maybe the French have a better appreciation of what a great car the Multipla is!
£3600 for a 135k 2001 is very high, be quite lucky to get anywhere near half that over here.
Thought about going into the import business for LHD Multi's?!

I'm sure there will be many niggles to sort out with your new 'pig', but it will all be worth it! I love mine, even though she has some 'issues' that need sorting out. We're about to go down that wonderful road that is getting a UK car registered in France. I predict some frayed tempers! We have already put two cars in to the system but it is different with every vehicle....or possibly whether or not you get the official who has had his lunch or not!!! Hot tip.....when you go to the prefecture to do yours, (if you haven't done so already) go at about 10 minutes to midday. It's amazing how quickly and efficiently officialdom can work when it threatens to spill over in to their lunchbreak!!! Don't go any later though or they will just tell you to come back after lunch! Bon Courage!!

We have gone native & bought french. Looked at ebay & gumtree & thought about importing but couldn't be bothered with the hassle.
