General Just bought a GP!! Bit of help needed!

Woop woop!

As of Monday when I pick my car up I'll be a member of the GP car club .

Got a few things to sort out however, I bought a 1.2 Active 06 plate.

I was wondering if this AUX adaptor would fit in my car as its 2006 and the listing says 2007 on. As my car is 2006 it shouldn't have Blue&Me right?

Car also doesn't come with a front lower grille and parcel shelf, how much is the cheapest I can pay for them, I looked at £20 for the grille (with P&P) and £37 (+P&P) for the shelf!!

As you can see I am a pretty clueless when it comes to cars (first one ) so any help you guys can offer would be great!

Did you ask why it didn't have the grill or shelf when you bought it? And that's a bit steep for the shelf I'd go to a breakers or scrappy for one. It'll be much cheaper mate

They just said it didnt come with one when they bought it themselves.

I knocked off £200 for them though haha!

Exactly the same as my Aux system, I have an 06 active (Albeit in grey) and works a doddle, literally plug and play.

Does that aux lead plug in the back of the stereo then you just attach the cable to an iPod and boom you play?

The aux lead connects to the back of the stereo and then you turn the stereo of aux (by pressing the CD button twice I think) and then 'boom' LOL play. Your music should play through the sound system then.

Oh thanks, I tried to do the DIY way before by getting some earphones and soldering it to the aux didn't turn out very well, defiantly gonna give this a shot thanks again :thumbup:

No problem mate don't destroy your headphone, these leads are cheap a chips mate

Your GP could have the leaky boot problem hence why there was no parcel shelf due it being ruined.

The rest of the boot looked fine though, there was no issues with the seal around the boot or the material lining the boot.

Maybe one day someone took it out then a little lepricorn came alone and took the shelf so now there is no shelf. Although somewhere there is a lepricorn using the shelf as a bed, just go to the end of a rainbow and you might just find your shelf
