General Juddering clutch

whenever i pull away from a standstill, as the clutch begins to bite, the whole of the front of the car judders like fcuk. [xx(] has anybody had this problem? how can i solve it? would i need to replace the clutch? the haynes manual says it could be down to 'worn transmission bearings', 'worn driven plate' or something else. it all sounds quite worrying... help!

I dont know if this helps but my uno was doing that until I took it for a tune, it seems to be fine now but I still get the occasional judder but not as bad.



The modding will start, once my zorst arrives!!

worth checking to see that you haven't got a bust engine mount, it could be the engine moving about.

If you have a hydraulic clutch, do you get through a vast amount of clutch fluid? The slave cylinders are prone to failure of the seal allowing fluid to reach the clutch plate. That was my problem solved.
