Hey everyone,

So I changed my clutch cable today (Snapped on me), and now my clutch is really heavy? Also, the bite point on the clutch is suddenly a lot sooner?

Does anyone know the reason why? We adjusted it so the pedal is in the right place, I think it's tight enough? Do we need to grease the clutch cable?

Thanks everyone :)

Check it's not kinked or routed incorrectly?

My Uno 45 has the lightest clutch of all my cars.

Greasing cables is always a good idea, but not technically required.

It could be that you haven't aligned the "plug thing" (not sure of terminology) that locates the cable through the firewall the right way around. I know from experience that getting it the wrong way around soon leads to the cable snapping again!
