Thanks to Ian (Geforce) I finally got the 1.2 i been looking round for for the past three months or so ....wicked no more trips to the petrol pumps three times a week for me ...lol

seriously though I just bought Ians Silver 1.2 which some of you might have seen the post and pics about earlier in the week and Im well pleased with it

Exactly as Ian described it and im pretty confident its gonna be a decent motor :)

just a quick question though .....anybody know how to retune the radio presets in a 2001 Bravo cos all hes left me with is Radio 4 and SAGA FM......lol

nice one though Ian thanks for the motor ( promise ill treat her with care) and thanks for showing me the way back to the motorway .....although i still think you only wanted to have a burn in the new BORA ...lol

I would have kept up with you more but my mate in the coupe was flagging a bit ..lol

Welcome aboard!

cheers mate

ive been aboard for a while now though ......just that i dare show my face now im not confined to the old 1.4 that ive had for yrs
lol

OHhhhhhhhhhhhh, it all comes clear now!!

The original owner had all these stations programmed in, and because I listened to CD's all the time, I had no need to re-program the Radio.. except for this one time...

I ended up listning to Radio 1 about 3 weeks ago in the morning for the Chris Moyles show and somehow, button 1 on the radio programmed itself in as Radio 1. (NO Idea how though!) and when I was up in Manchester 2 weekends ago, I was listning to Galaxy, and could I figure out how to program in set stations? Could I heck!!

It seemed easier, yet less practical to just "seek" radio stations as of when I wanted to listen to them - Viola!

Oh, I did notice the 2.0-litre Hyundai was lagging a bit, so I did try to slow up. The Bora is a real mean-road eating machine though. Apologies if I covered your new Bravo in a cloud of black smog! ;)

Hope you enjoy.

Ps. I didn't check if there was anything in the pockets behind both drivers and passenger seat.

If there's anything in there, let me know!

Cheers - and happy motoring!

Ian.

Tune to the station that you want and then press and hold the preset number that you want to assign it to until you hear a beep.

just had a look in the seat pockets mate

didnt find anything at all

but I did find two 5p pieces and a 1p piece on the rear floor under the mat ...lol

that will teach ya to hoover it more often eh...lol

cant be bad got myself a new motor and I got cashback the next day ...lol

oh and a dodgy looking girls bangle in the passenger front footwell which im gonna give to the german bird tonight to impress her .....NOT ...lol

Cashback and a bangle.. lol.

I think that the bangle was that schoolies I picked up the other week .. lol. She musta left it:)

You're right, it will teach me to hoover it more often. Except, I would of hoovered it, but I just drove 600 miles and then 10 minutes later you turned up at my door! D'oh!

I'm averaging 59.6mpg in the Bora, if anyone is interested :)

lol.

What's even more amusing..

Cruising in 6th gear at 50mph gives me 115mpg+ on the digital display lol. ;)

your sad ian all u ever go on about is schoolies and the whole mpg issue :) lol 115+ mg i am impressed!

That's because...

Better MPG = More cash in your pocket

More cash in pocket = More sweets for the schoolies

More sweets for the schooles = :) :) :)

lol jk
