Its not you, its the fact that its the 1.4 8valve. You only have 77? BHP. The starjet was never released AFAIK on the evo and the only 16v 1.4 was the multi-air and the multi-air tubro.

Stuck the tailpipe on earlier still not sure if i like it but only paid £20 for it not the rrp £89, doubt id even consider the full price tbh

Yeah i payed £89 for it. Opened it, and lost my temper. They fail to tell you its 'fake', as in the fumes don't even flow along and out the twin pipes. They escape through the cut out section facing underneath, and the twin pipes are actually duff, and just for show. Raving joke, i rang them up and really chewed the guys ear off on the phone. Gave me a full refund and payed for return postage

For £20 though, can't fault it. In the end i got a single pipe chrome one off of eBay for £6.50

i like how the website says sporty look and sound, sound how?? the one i really wanted is off the grande punto a kind of finger biscuit shape sporting one maybe? ill stick with this one till someone wants a swap

After changing the plugs and air filter im getting extra 3mpg over about 2 weeks up to 40mpg

back in for more warranty work today snapped front coil spring and strut top mount 1 month warranty left :yuck:

ill add them to my list of brake boost sensor, rear window regulators, rear door handles

Ach cheer up, its not all bad

Mine has had:

Engine cover (Original broke and this one has subsequently broke aswell)
Engine mouting slack
Engine ECU

Haha was in a proper grump about it and had 5hr trip on monday with no courtesy car available Ahhhh

Had it back today tho thankfully, they only replaced the one side thought springs were done in pairs like shocks should be gotta sort out the odd squeak from the rear as it didnt happen when the road tested it been told some wd40 on the rear top strut will sort it

springs should be done in pairs, obviously they didn't want to have the extra expense of have to do the other side, but to be fair, on a newer car, doing the springs would be easy

Managed 40.1 mpg with a full car 4 passengers and roofbox on my way home from blackpool

...and took took that chavy tailpipe off and made £16 selling it on ebay
