I viewed 3 500's in December for sister, we bought the 3rd and it was the only one with front end sill damage caused by incorrect jacking. It's shocking how common it is!
With.. or Without damage..
Personally..,
I drive onto Low-ish blocks, then you've enough room to get under with a conventional trolley jack.. don't trust FIXED point jacks as the car will ALWAYS creep sideways
AND I always jack on suspension points,
NEVER damaged a sill..!!
unlike a friend who got back in his Vauxhall at a major fast-fit chain to find they had jack-ed up the floor pan ( at the drivers footwell):bang:
