You mean remap? not sure about Bravo, but on stilo's case, not worth it unless you get GSR at the same time, but you still only looking at 15-20bhp increase max. (at around 350-400 pounds)

It's not just book figures to talk about its torque and torque / power delivery which is a lot more than can be described in 15-20bhp. Look at some of the rolling road graphs to see what I mean.

I did it to my punto and never looked back the remap and GSR seem to compliment each other perfectly!.

Mines just been serviced :) will be there for my map tweak, will be setting off from Leeds area if your up for it Dom? Me and Tris will probably be going down together too :)

Yer im up for that mate, theres got to be a few of us going from the north. Not sure which is the quikest route for me. Upto leeds then down the M1 is the simplest. What you had done to yours just a remap?

sent a few pms to oldschool about induction kit but havent had a reply, need to know if its going to be available that day or not. cheers.

Thinking of coming along to this for a re-map of my 1.4 16v. All in this thread who have mentioned their stock power and torque figures say this RR have measured in excess of standard, some heavily so. Why are FIAT claiming lower figures than reality? Does this not just show that the RR consistently over-reads? The Panda 100HP is known to have a more aggressive map to get the few extra HP, so do they really have 110HP?

I am not saying the figures are wrong, I am just trying to make a judgement call on whether this RR are honest and skilful in what they do or like so many, tell the customer what they want to hear.

it depends what car it is- a lot of the 1.9 diesels come out with less than claimed power...

Fiat may have done it on the T-jet as the Abarth has 155bhp, and would people be less inclined to spend extra on it if the average consumer knew the T-jet in fact only has 10-15bhp less?

Insurance grouping could also be a factor...

Engines are bench tested in the factory which gives more accurate figures and it depends what the transmission losses are set at on a RR. If they are set high then it makes it seem like you have more power.

this rolling road can not be fiddled with or have so much user errors as others. when people have had a reading on this rr and then gone to another reputable RR place figures have matched.
unlike other places that say you have to stand well out of the way for health n safety reasons this place will let you stand and watch any where you like, Ive even sat on the chair doing the buttons my self its all above board

I want to talk about this more, but don't want to spam up this thread with a boring RR power discussion, so hopefully I can meet up with you and other previous attendees at Stanford Hall this weekend to talk more about it? I'll be in my blue classic Panda (with 1.4 16v from Punto sporting).

Damon is a lot more clued up on it than me, i have to get his help when i am stuck :)

he has also been with me when we have visited other tuners and he was able to spot more dodgy things going on at the other places than i did, he has been around the tuning scene for many many years

Thats why you RR it before and after map. ;)

im still thinking about coming down but im not sure if its worth it, i got an exhaust system done not long ago cat-back and the guy changed the pipe to 2" all the way thru instead of the 1.5" so its more free flowing but its doesn't feel any more powerful and seems to have more flat spots. so would having my map tweaked help?

and i am wanting a new manifold and sports cat, and cams but i cant get much info on what sort of gains to expect and how much it all costs and I don't want to keep nagging oldschool about it. anyone know the answer?
