Hope you enjoyed your time in Edinburgh Adam. I'm just back from Madeira. Some very nice cars there but not a single Fiat to be seen. Anyway, back to work today, six weeks isnt enough Soon be half term. Any thoughts on a 2.2 JTS Spider ? - thinking of upgrading my SLK for a new shape and the Alfa is a similar price bracket.

Don't go for the 2.2 JTS, get a 2.4JTD and make sure it is 2007 onwards.

Apart from the economy, what would be the advantage of a diesel sports car? It just seem right.

Believe me the 2.2 JTS is pitiful. It is a harsh engine with a ridiculous flat spot until 2,500rpm. If you want a sportscar then look elsewhere, they're more of a GT.
The 2.4 JTD does anything from 28-38ish MPG...

Fringe were amazing. Beautiful city with so much character and life...
