well it had to happen one day, Paula was having trouble using the multipla for work she delivers parcels and the multipla didnt like all the shunting about after a while the clutch would get hot and the gears would be hard to engage so she needed a small car that was ideal for city driving so I got this 100_3010.JPG
yes its a skoda! but thats the problem its a skoda not a fiat it performed its duties without problem its like new inside and out but its not a fiat!!!! so we went out and got this

its great! and after owning classic pandas for nearly 18 years its nice to see what the newer model has to offer. dont panic though im not selling the 4x4 it just means im using the multipla everyday so its in semi retirment which hopefully means ill get some of the jobs done on it:p

What spec is the mk3?

Looks Eleganza'ish

Nice sky dome btw :)

its a dynamic we was after a lime green one but the seller was hard work then we spotted this one it needs a few bits doing but nothing major I love the colour just need to see if its still going strong when its 25 years old like my 4x4:D

Skoda`s are better built than the VW`s they are based on, I tried to get my Dad to buy a low mileage black 1.6 Laurin & Clement Octavia estate when they decided to replace the Tempra (Fiat didnt have an equivalent small-medium estate unfortunately), but my Dad turned his nose up at the Skoda badge.. :bang:

My mum originally wanted a Hyundai Getz, she liked the look of it.

I said she was out of her mind and she should try a Fabia. "Just go to the dealers and see if you like them."

She was longer than expected, she bought a 2 year old part-ex on the spot. :D

its not all bad, you might get the tow eye cover colour coded :p

yes it was booked in next monday to have that and a small ding on the door done. they have dropped off a loan car its a corsa sxi 12 plate with 3000 miles on the clock i mean 8 fiats on the garden and the bring us an inferiour luton product! all the paper work they gave us was 2 a4 sheets about what to do if it breaks down thats faith if ever I heard it

i had a new corsa in the summer for a few days, it drove worse than a basic mk1 punto i hated it, had an old fashion (feel it changing) auto box too so used loads of fuel and they named it an eco :nutter:

i took it back and they gave me a new prius, i hated that too and it was no better on fuel than my croma

Eh? How did a cherry picker (unless it was a datsun cherry picker (sorry)) manage to be in the same place at the same time??

the car was parked and the cherry picker tried to park in front but he forgot how much of a rear over hang he had so as he pulled in the rear "leg" hit our wheel pushed car into the kurb then as he kept going forward the leg went under the wheel arch and made its exit through the front bumper. so it needs a wheel and centre cap along with a bumper.

Looking at that pic and having hard the fronts off of mk3's plenty of times it might also have taken the corner of the front panel with it, and possibly even the headlight bracket? You manage to have much of a poke about in there and check out of interest

Ah, I'm mixing up scissor lifts and cherry pickers. Bloody annoying though.

ah I see what you mean, no it was a cherry picker they where checking something on the top off the job centre his excuse was he was trying to get in close so I asked him if he had even thought of trying to reverse in but he just looked blank. told him insted of working on job centre he should try going in and getting a job that that doesnt involve driving!
