General Isofix, Maxi-cosi and the Sedici

Hello

Can anyone help me please? My wife and I are expecting, our first, hence my complete lack of knowledge in this area.

I am aware that my Sedici (2006 - 56) has Isofix, yet Maxi-Cosi and Britax do not recognise the model in their listings of "safe-fitting" cars. However the SX4 is listed and approved as safe.

Does anyone have experience of fitting Isofix in the Sedici - is it safe to assume that the technical specs are the same for Sedici/SX4 in terms of the Isofix fittings?

So far no-one at Fiat can help me, can anyone help a newbie out? For reference I am looking at Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix base & Pebble seat

Hi there, Congrats too!!


From what I'm reading here on this forum, it's the very same car as the SX4, as in it's made in the same factory on the same line assembly as the SX4.
So anything that fits the SX4 also fits the Sedici.
I have not heard of Fiat changing anything within the car post assembly.

Thanks and thanks for the reply. This was what I was thinking. I'm thinking of popping into my local retailer of all things car, bike etc and getting their opinion and to see if the things fits safely/easliy.

Yep, Sedici / SX4 same car, different badges.

(Fiat got 1/3 of the production for supplying the 1.9 Multijet diesel engine).
