ISO / Plug and Play options

What is the difference between a ISO Lead adapter from ebay for £5-£15 example: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fiat-Gran...9?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item51b9db5635

and a plug and play option like this for £40:

From what i can see they do the same thing but are two very different prices????

One allows you to keep steering controls and one doesnt.

Yep, as above, the cheap one will just supply power and connect to speakers, etc. The other (with the appropriate patch lead for your aftermarket headunit) will allow the steering controls to function.

The £40 should also switch your head unit on and off with the ignition, the cheaper one would have needed manual wiring manually.

Thanks for the replies. Bought a CTKFT01 kit of eBay in the end for £41 and managed to get a fascia plate, aerial socket, steering wheel control interface lead, stereo removal tools and the connects2 box. Still not cheap but not bad considering everywhere charges £40 just for the connects2 box.

All wired in and working. Only hiccup is that if I have the key I the ignition clicked onto electrics (I think MAR??) and listening to music and then twist the key to start the engine I hear the sub make a loud pop/bang. Anyone have any idea what I mean? / how to fix it??

Hi just bought a new head unit for my 2006 grande punto and about to by this facia/cabling pack but what plugs into the connects2 box is that a cable that will come with the stereo because i dont have a cable like that behind the dash
