Thank you for the response RobW. Have looked at a few video recordings and to get into the sub 9 minutes it takes some special. Given that you're car has no roll cage, harness, etc and is set up for road use you've done the most sensible thing and kept within your limits and still enjoyed it which the main thing. Did 'see' a AGP SS get around 9min 10secs and what's that rental Suzuki Swift doing with a time of 8min 14sec (ok it has 150bhp so it's more than a Stage 2).:)

Sobering reminder on that link you provided...

Glory may indeed last forever, and broken bones may indeed heal,
but the constant aching of a knackered joint really gets on your nerves after a few years.

any lap of the 'ring that you complete is a good lap
those RENT4RING modded Swifts are a great 'ring tool (y)

Did once look at the older model Swifts and they go 'cheap' in the auctions. From having had a look before for a good 1.6 NA engine Suzuki came out tops particularly on their new model and the perfromance moves it into A500 terroritory. Not surprised it got a best hot hatchback award. It's a pity it's so ugly but you have to admire the 17s & the twin exhausts out the back and that it's not 'all show and no go'. The old model only has a 5 speed and here road tax is c. €460 p.a. Wiki covered the Suzuki Swift S-Concept and it has connotations of the 500 Zagato model. Didn't see anything on the suspension setup on the Swift to make it in anyway special like the MINI or the CUP chassis in the Renaults so the engine and the optional Recardos is probably what makes it.
