is this bad???

after constant bleeding to get hot air from my heater
then after a few weeks, this goes cold again..

am i sensing somethign bad and expensive needs to be done?>

yep when istart the car..its take about 20 seconds to settle.. if i rev i can hear an output of air lettign loose??

no idea how this is fixed

have the engine hot then on the final bleed screw (return from heater) Rev the engine until nothing but water is coming out. Watch it though. water will be very hot. screw bleed screw while water is coming out

also airlocks can occur near the bottom pipe from rad, with bleed screw closed but with expansion lid open give the pipe a good squishing a few times. (with engine running)

i have doen this bout month ago and its the same thing again>

i actually did a complete bleed..
now..can there be an issue with the thermostat/

Thermostat could be stuck open, you will never get the right temperature if thats the case,

unsure with stat..today it heater was set on hot..and the dial on the temp guage was goign up..scarily but all i got was cold air
so switched off the heater as it wasnt working..

unsure if it is the thermostat ..if it is is whats the symptoms..

Well now, i would take out the thermostat and test it The stat should open at the preset temp and operate to keep that temp. obviously not doing that. could be faulty. only the water pump left to suspect
