Technical Is this a toe hook

This might sound like a silly suggestion to some but worked for me....

I made the front bumber quick release due to the same problems as you are having it was also very simple, all i did was replace all nut heads with nut heads with small handles on them(not sure of technical name) so when i had to be towed i would just undo bolts by hand then remove bumber and place on back seats revealing the towing eye

hmmm that is a very good idea, i only have 6 bolts that need un-doing

the top 2 would be easy, the 2 in each wheel arch might be tricky, although with bolts that i can undo with my hands, it might just work :D

will have to have a proper look and see what can be done

thanks :)

Hi,
Be careful with the fasteners thing, some tea leaf might take a shine to your bumper and run off with it, what a ****e world we live in.....

What about the flat race style towing eye's you get from Demon Tweeks, sure you could fit that in some where.....

Thanks
Paul T

i have seen the tow rings from tweeks, but i wouldnt really know where to put it, i can only see one suitable place for it to go, but i am not sure it would be strong enough

Hmm i may look into that new mounting point for the front tow hook. The proper point on my Sei is so rusted the eye (which i had to buy cos the car didnt come with one, £16 too) wont "bite".
The rear tow point is knackerd too. When i was towed out of a field at xmas  the eye slipped and has knackerd the threads. They were also very rusty too.

whats one of them

That cool thing the AA has where the two front wheels rest in the metal frame thingy and the front is elevated and the pickup tows your car back!

If you can't get the AA then time to enjoy the disadvantages over looks over functionality.
