One of my Headlamp bulbs has failed (dipped beam). I wondered if anyone has replaced the original lamp with anything that is brighter/better than the original fitted? Any recommendations? (My car is 04 Bug-eye version).

I've just fitted 100/90 bulbs to my bike - that's made a difference, though not as much as you'd expect.

More expensive than more powerful 'ordinary' bulbs, but probably the best you can get is an HID conversion kit, but you're looking at about £60 for the lower lamps and the same again for full beam.

Personally, I don't think HID is cost effective unless you have a vehicle with really crap lights, and the Multi's not that bad.

Thanks for that. I agree that the lights as they stand are actally not bad, so I just got the best lamps I could find to replace the existing ones (are claiming "up to 90% brighter" - you never know....). Just thought I'd ask whilst I was thinking about it. Nice and easy to replace too on the Multi.:)

I recently fitted Xenon Superwhite upgrade bulbs to our Bug eye. Got them from Ace Parts Ltd on the internet. Very reasonably priced and made huge difference. Looks good too with the slight blue tint!
