Does anyone know if the HGT 155 model (registered Aug 2001, Y reg) has an OBD2 socket. I have done a bit of research and its still not clear. The Fiat offical workshop manual (bought on ebay on a CD) does not say anything about this, but it maybe just that the manual is older than 2001.
I gather there are dedicated diagnosis sockets in the engine bay, reading various posts but petrol cars made 2001 and later are OBD2 compliant.
Does anyone know for sure if the HGT 155 has an OBD2 connection? If so any ideas where it is located? I had a look under the drivers side fusebox and under the steering and could not find anything obvious. Perhaps someone owns the 155 model and knows where this socket it and possibly point me in the right direction.
Am asking mainly to see if I can purchase/get a software for my laptop and plug it in to carry out fault diagnosis, read/erase codes etc. Any guidance about these will also be helpful
Cheers fellas.
