Is my clutch goin??? help

last week my clutch felt like it was scraping on something, thats gone but not whenever i put my clutch in i hear a squeeking, if i hold it in position half way down it squeeks, everything else feels fine just the noise, its a 1.2 80sx brava, if it is bad news how much approx will it cost, cheers guys

i have this too and i have been told its the thrust bearing.. as my old mans a motor mechanic mines always really really cheap sometimes free

jus been quoted 310quid WOWZA cant afford tht at all, so im contemplatin buyin a clutch kit for 60quid an avin a crack meself, has any1 had a crack at it, is it more hassle than its worth?

this is due to my old man sayin if the thrust bearins are goin you mite aswell get a new clutch??

i did mine myself...is alot of hassle, but i did mine when i repalced the engine was easier.

but for the sake of £300...doit urself if it fails, u know u tried haha!

If they didnt want it stripping they shouldnt of give me nuts and bolts
