The question is the title,is it possible to keep the Air Condition while converting stock Seicento Sporting 2002(Mpi) to 1.368 16v(843A1000 engine code)???

Some say yes it is possible, some others say no,because there is not enough space for the Air Compressor...so what is the truth???Has anyone officialy done it???I would like to see some pictures if this can be done...

Thank you.

Dim momemt.... all depends whether your looking to make a custom mount or use the original mount from the mk2 punto... I suppose if you removed the battery tray and relocated it the the boot you could use the mk2/2b air con pump and mounting bracket aswell as the alternator and then just run the standard aux belt.. I think if your using the mk1 loom though you will have to find a way of wiring it up.. or is it as simple as an on/off switch??
