for me this was ok and i had to drill a hole in another part of the lock aswell.
but other then them two things it all went in no prob and works fine
it can be done i have just done this today BUT (yes there is a but lol)
the only way i could think to do it ment i lost the ability to lock the boot with the key.

i have seen this sliding part before, but when i tried to move it with my finger it didnt move, so i guessed that it cant be done that way... lol
have you changed something else inside the lock to make it easier to move? (and if not, why the key dont work anymore?)

I have fiat uno 1.0 1993 mk2, with no central locking (basic model) and the only way to open the boot is from the lock out side of the car.
my qestion is: is it possible to install a generic central locking system and make it work on the boot also? how?
