iPod nano help please.

Have an iPod nano, an just been updating the tracks on it.

got a pop up from itunes saying that there was a software update for the ipod available from 1.0 to 1.1, so have downloaded it & clicked to up date ipod yet the software information still shows version 1.0.

any ideas anybody?

i think when you update the ipod software on the pod, you have to then switch it off and plug it into the mains power supply...

that;s with the normal ones anyway.

so it doesn't have a power adapter?

have you tried searching for stuff on google.. that found all the answers i needed in the early ipod days.
