Ipod help? (fast forward/rewind)

Hiya everyone! I'm a newbie so I just wanted to say hi!

Also, this might be a weird question, but I can't seem to find an answer to it anywhere, but does anyone know how to fast forward/rewind a song when your ipod is plugged into AUX?

You can't without doing it on the actual ipod! although you can look at buying something like this!
