I've had some great help from another member in the GP forum but wanted some more specific advice on te Blue&Me. Fiat's website and all the forum threads I have read have confused me somewhat!

I have an iPhone 3G, what features will I be able to use on the Blue&Me. I really only want to be able to recieve calls and make them to a handful of people - a few friends etc - while Im driving.

Is this posible with the iPhone?

My iPod is mac formatterd and the majority of my music is from iTunes. I understand that this will not work with Blue&Me. Whats the best way to deal with this? Re-formatting on a PC and transfering to mp3 will take an age surely and I dont have a PC anyway. Will an apple formatted USB work? Is there no aux cable in the GP? Will the usb stick at least charge my ipod (newest kind, nano)?

iPhone 3G will work for calls etc, at this moment in time it cant function with the message reader or as an ipod.

it WILL:
pair with Blue&Me for calls.
show your recent calls.
transfer your phonebook
work with voice activation (eg, call mr wrong work)

iPOD:
Music will need to be in MP3 or WMA, disk mode turned on and formatted in FAT32 (PC) if you havnt got a PC you could try formatting your ipod in fat32 via your mac and seeing if that works (itunes may bitch, but u could copy the files onto the ipod, not using itunes..).

The system cannot read apples AAC music files, or apples file system (HFS+)..

hope that helps..
Ben.

Thanks, Ben!!!!!!!

I'll make sure I've got the latest update on iPhone and hopefully that will all work fairly straightforward!

As for the music, think I will use a friends PC to format a USB pen, put some MP3s on that and then just update as I feel neccasary. Can leave it in the car that way. Maybe in the future they'll accept aac and iPod, you never know, maybe.

So.... where do I order one of these Grande Punto thingys then? (y)
