Hi, I'm David.

I will be using/possibly buying a 1.2 automatic Panda that currently belongs to my mother-in-law. I love the car to bits - it's great fun to drive if a little under-powered.

Anyway, I've started sorting the little niggles out and I've already found out useful tips on the forum. I'll be posting a specific thread today as I've reached a stumbling block. It's nice to get registered and thank you to all the people who've posted helpful guides etc.

:)

It's only suffering in comparison to a much more modern and more powerful car. My wife has just been made redundant and we've had to say goodbye to an amazing car (a pug 308SW puretech 1.2 turbo), and stepping into the lovely little panda with it's semi-auto box feels a little sluggish, but I do love it and it's great fun all the same.

I have a manual 1.2 and I have to say, unlike other small cars like the Corsa and Fiesta it's really honest and practical. It actually feels like a bigger car with a sophisticated if not basic feel.

A surprising thing I fee when driving mine is just how solid every operation I make in it is. Acceleration, braking, the little 'City' button for manoeuvring.

Honestly don't think you'll have any problems with a Panda so long as you keep it serviced you should be good!
