Technical internal fans not working on punto 1.2 elx 2000

Hi,

Got the car for £300 just to do me 6 miles a day. Just noticed that the internal fans to clear the windscreen don't work! turning the witches and nothing happens. Thought it might be a fuse but i don't have a handbook to tell me fuse positions etc...can anyone help?

The fan matrix itself is under the passenger glovebox. Take off the plastic connector and there is a resistor down there. Test/Replace this and see if it works then

Repair it yourself, cheap and easy...... This is for the Ducato but same idea.

does it matter what temp rating it has?

The original is 215, something near that will do. I used 184 in that post as it was all I could get.

i dont mean for ducato, lets say for punto, or do all fiats have same temp rating?

I presume Punto one is the same, I've never looked. Have a gander and see what it is if you have one hanging around and post the result, I'd imagine they are the same.
