Hey all, just looking for an opinions/advice here on my stilo woes. I recently had the selespeed pump replaced by the local alfa/fiat specialist, was working for 2 days then had a gearbox failure again.
Took it back again and they said that my ecu had lost its programming which is why I broke down again. They fixed this, I went to go get it later on in the week and didn't even get it home when it flashed up. This time however I turned the ignition off, back on and was able to drive. Took it straight back to the garage and there were no more problems with this drive.
They are telling me that it could be the ECU, and I may need to replace it? I'm really not sure what to do because I would have to buy one. If they can't find anything I'll have to hope it makes it back to mine and sell it/figure something out.

edit: I should also add that when the gearbox failure message up, I lost all power. Pressing the accelerator just rev'd the engine.
