I've got a problem with my rear right indicator.

A day or two ago it started ticking more quickly than usual, so getting out to have a look the rear light wasn't flashing.
New bulb needed I thought. But, the next time I got into the car it was working fine again! Then today it did the same. So I turned off and started up agian and it worked again!
Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers.

Loose wire or loose bulb, take the cluster off and wiggle the bulb.

oh it might be the the actually little box of tricks that makes it go on and off, i'm stumped for the name. just changed mine it's in the lower cowling of the steering column as was an ass to get out but 2 secs to put back.

That does both sides, it is a dodgey bulb holder or wiring in this case.

Thanks for your help, dodgy wiring/bulb holder does sound right.
I'll have a fiddle next time it does it.

Try the middle contact in bulb holder. Pull it up a bit-gently (no key in the ignition), then replace the bulb.
The 2. thing is to check the light connector and his contacts. Standard stuff on Italian cars.
