Hazards prob - Indicators fine

Hi all,

Searched the forum before posting but couldn't find an answer.

My car indicators are working fine, however the hazard lights are not working.

I checked the 10A fuse but it's ok. I also refitted the relay under the steering but for nothing.

Is there something else I have to check? I got a spare hazard light switch but don't want to remove the centre console until I'm sure that the switch is to blame or else there is a loose connection.

This happened after I didn't use my car for 12days.

Would like to add that when the hazard switch is supposed to be 'on', the indicators don't (as it should I think)

oh btw, I have an alarm fitted and when I lock/unlock the doors, the hazards flash off
