Interior lights

was speeking to my dad about this today ,

im thinking about putting in a Extra interior light in the back of the cinq .. any idea what would be the best car to get one out of , need quite a shallow back one to go between rooflineing and the roof ...

yep , Run a wire from the contacts from the front light , to a Rear light ,
only thing is would you mount them in the roof or would you mount them in the Rear quaters?

my mate fitted a Saxo int light in his escort and i think it was Realy shallow , so i think it would fit in hopefully so , im gona have a ratch in a scrappy next time im in ,,,, you dont think one or two extra lights could cause a problem on the wireing , as in demanding to much load?

saxo lights are crap though. sei and punto ones are shallow... tbh now adays you could wire anything up to them as i was saying to you the other week. easiest i can tihnk of would be another cinq light. atleast then they would match

im wiring a boot light in aswell, they are only low voltage bulbs that are on for a short period of time so i dont think it'd do any damage wiring them up off each other tbh, especially with led bulbs.

i was kinda tempted to run an led strip up the middle or 2 strips above the rear windows wired up to the interior light circuit because they are low voltage, easy to mount and shallow

Hmmm LED strip.... I'll admit my interior light is ok ish.... but an LED Strip or just LED Light would be good
Would be tempted to fit a small LED strip in the boot, as the boot light is pish.

Wow so there was a few changes then in 2001, when the MPI's came out....
Thought the only visual differences were on the body.
